DAV Boys Senior Secondary School, Gopalapuram proudly presents EXPO ’26 – IGNITE 360°, an interdisciplinary exhibition designed to go beyond textbooks and ignite curiosity, creativity, and innovation. The expo brings together Science, Mathematics, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Languages, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, and Technology—providing students with a platform to explore ideas, demonstrate skills, and showcase real-world applications of learning.

DAV BGPM proudly celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by inspiring speeches and vibrant cultural performances that reflected the spirit of unity and national pride. The highlight of the occasion was the gracious presence of our Chief Guest, Gp Capt Dr R. Venkataraman (Retd), whose motivational address encouraged students and staff to uphold the values of the Constitution and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress.

Our Annual Day 2025, themed “Bharati Ki Pratidhwani,” was a grand and memorable celebration that beautifully reflected our institution’s vision of nurturing holistic growth and cultural pride. The evening unfolded as a vibrant showcase of artistic excellence, where students captivated the audience with graceful dance performances, soulful musical renditions, eloquent speeches in English and Tamil, and powerful stage presentations. This year’s celebration not only honored academic achievements but also echoed the timeless spirit of Bharati, weaving together tradition and creativity, and leaving an enduring impression on everyone present.

“Freedom is not merely a gift of the past, but a responsibility of the present and a promise for the future.” This year’s Independence Day celebration at DAV Boys School, Gopalapuram, was a reminder of that very truth. The morning unfurled with the spirit of unity and pride as the tricolour soared high, symbolizing the sacrifices of our forefathers and the aspirations of a new generation. The program echoed the theme of duty towards the nation, reminding every student that independence is sustained not just by words, but by actions of integrity, service, and commitment. Through stirring speeches, patriotic songs, and cultural performances, the celebration captured the essence of India’s journey, a nation rooted in timeless values yet striving boldly towards progress.

The academic year 2025’s annual sports meet was marked by grandeur and unyielding spirit. It stood as a testament to the determination, discipline, and teamwork that define D.A.V. Boys Senior Secondary School. The vibrant participation of students across all events turned the day into a celebration of talent and perseverance. With every race run and every game played, the values of resilience and sportsmanship shone brightly. The Sports Day of 2025 left behind lasting memories and reinforced the bonds of friendship and unity among the students.

Varsharambh marked the auspicious beginning of the school. Students took three resolutions that were simple, achievable and realistic. It was a solemn occasion which was a more like sankalp for the entire year.

The Investiture Ceremony stands as one of the most significant events in our school calendar. On this day, the newly elected council steps forward with pride to accept the mantle of leadership. With a spirit of commitment and dedication, they pledge to uphold the values of the school and carry out the responsibilities entrusted to them with integrity and excellence.

The evening showcased a captivating display of cultural prowess, where our students exhibited their diverse talents through enchanting dances, soulful music renditions, articulate speeches in both English and Tamil, and compelling dramatic presentations. This Annual Day celebration celebrated academic excellence and the vibrant cultural tapestry that enriches our school community, leaving an indelible mark on all attendees.

The academic year 2024's annual sports meet was hosted with a lot of fanfare and flair. It was a magnificent demonstration of the bravery, diligence, and intelligence that have always been a part of D.A.V. Boys Senior Secondary School. The students put a lot of effort into organising the sports meet, which will be remembered for years to come. In addition to celebrating successes, the yearly athletic event taught pupils valuable lessons about friendship.

DAV Boys Gopalapuram celebrated the inauguration of four vibrant clubs: Health, Eco, Science, and Computer Science. The event featured the introduction of enthusiastic student members who will drive each club's activities. Exciting events such as health awareness campaigns, eco-friendly initiatives, science exhibitions, and computer programming workshops were announced, promising an engaging year ahead. The inauguration underscored the school's commitment to holistic education and nurturing diverse interests among its students. The Heritage, Maths, and Robotics Clubs were recently inaugurated to foster student engagement in history, mathematics, and technology.
